In Singapore... Airport

No, its not the tropical South East Asian rain forest. Notice the lights? I am in the airport. Changi Airport to be precise.

The picture above is the Skytrain, its a train that gets you between the three terminals of Singapore. Terminal one serves all other airlines, terminal two services Asian airlines (i think) like Malaysia airlines and Silk air while terminal three serves major cities around the world (Frankfurt, London, Paris, etc.)

This is TCC, a contender to Starbucks and Coffee Bean. Nice place.

My aunt had the White Lady (dunno what the concoction is) while I had some ice blended mocha with red bean in it, apparently the Japanese likes to put red bean in their coffee. The menu said its from Japan so I guess its like that. Any REAL Japanese or someone who ACTUALLY LIVES in Japan more than 2 weeks can confirm this? Anyway, you pretentious Japanese wannabes can stuff read beans in your coffee and watch Naruto, pretending you can understand fucking Japanese.

This is a plate. It serves as a place for you to put your food on. No, I have seen a plate before, I took it cause I like the angle. What? I like taking pictures at different angles! You don't like it?
Well, FUCK YOU!

My aunt taking a picture of me. Not a bad job. The design in here seems like a little mismatched for me, honestly. But it depicts the outright obvious vision of a expatriate living in Singapore. It looks modern and contemporary but there is an obvious aura of superficiality and mismatched collaborations.

Look! TCC advert again, I live the cute little chocolate hearts on the coffee cup.

Bvlgari, I have been obsessed with it since the Britney Spears Circus video. I tried Bvlgari perfume, unfortunately, our chemistry do not match.

The Wrestler

Summary: Mickey Rourke plays Randy The Ram a washed out wrestler who tries to make a comeback in the wrestling business. He fell in love with a stripper and also worked as a shop assistant.

The Good: Mickey Rourke knows how to be washed-up (after all he used to be a wash up himself.) The depressing the drugs, definitely seem very surreal. Marisa Tomei seems fit to be a stripper and she was a great supporting actress, noticeable but not hogging all the limelight. The roles were cast perfectly, its like the Je Ne Sais Quoix of fate that rarely happens in movie industries. Kudos to the casting director. Evan Rachel Wood also played her role very well as a neglected, demented teenager. Great story as it depicts how washed up someone washed up can be

The Bad: Some camera angles were disappointing. What is worse is the portrayal of the wrestling industry. They wrestle in the club and take steroids for god's sake. It feels as if they do not earn enough. I wish it were to be more prominent like the WWE. Giving it a very dirty and horrible image on it. There were also a few boring parts.

Overall: 4/5. The Wrestler needs to thank the actors for their very believable portrayals. Mickey Rourke, Marisa Tomei and Evan Rachel Wood had great chemistry with the characters and each other that makes the movie come alive. If it were not for them, it will be like some crappy indie movie.

Watchmen = Must Watch

Summary:

A former superhero was murdered and the world is on the verge of nuclear destruction. Experts say that the end of the world is very near. The cold war will be over and an all out war will breakout. To restore peace on earth? What do you have to do?

The Good:
Watchmen has a very impressive plot. Its twisted, its dark and obviously very anti-hero. It really keeps me at my feet. It makes you thought at first that there is a murderer after the superheros and it keeps you on edge all the time. The camera angles are superb as they really do make you feel that the attacker is going to strike at anytime. It really kept me on the edge a lot. But it then reveals there is a whole another different story that what it actually perceives, the motive of the murder is actually something very gruesome and it involves millions of lives. It will also leave you thinking, is it right or is it down right wrong? The actors played their part very well. Best actor definitely goes to Jackie Earle Haley who plays Rorschach in the film. An Oscar for this movie? Maybe not as the Oscar season has just ended but for MTV Movie Awards, then yes.

This movie is also great because it is not your traditional Superman comes and saves the day type by making the impossible, possible. Its about using the possible options available to save the world and stabilize the planet with making the fatalities as low as possible. It is also kick to the gonads for Singaporean movies who always try to make every movie a fucking moral lesson which is ridiculous. This is why I stay away from any movie that is Asian. For a serious tone in the movie there are some disturbing comical elements in it.

The Bad:
Can you stand sitting for 2 and a half hours where an overweight bastard sitting behind you and chews popcorn LOUDLY and makes you wonder if he spits some at the back of your hair. Thank God no farting, burping or sudden heart attacks happen. I pity the chair though, having to support such weight. Anyway, the length of the movie is really really long and the movie is a wee bit over the top and very overdone. Plus it does not really suit most people's taste. Hippies find it too violent, idiots find it confusing and boring and people with weird fetishes will have a hard-on and village idiots will be shocked by some girl-on-girl action. It really is for people who are deep into the comic.

Overall
3 out of five. Good movie, though not among the best. Watchmen is still a must watch basically it is just visibly different from other sci-fi/comic book movies. There is a little something for everyone in it. Idiots who think killing is ''funny'' and ''cool'', conspiracy theorists and anarchists, a good love story and loads of drama and action with a hint of comedy. Problem is the time is long and the movie is like steak on the brink of becoming burnt. And it really does not suit's other people's taste as political drama/ sci-fi are not really the ones bringing in the big bucks. But like I said, a must watch just cause it is different.

I am back...

Yay, I am back.
Aww, who the fuck cares about me back here in this pathetic small town
I FUCKING MISS LONDON
FUCK
FUCK
FUCK
FUCK
and
oh yeah!
FUCK.

Its 6:48 in London
Jetlag
Can't sleep, nocturnal.
And its been less than 12 hours
I have been here and I already miss London bad.
I have fallen in love with the city, I guess.

I miss the beautiful, classical and unique architecture
I miss the cheap books
I miss oxford street where I shopped till I drop
I miss London's chilly, gloomy and cold weather which has grown on me
I miss my trashy TV shows
I miss Godiva chocolates
I miss Bagel Factory
I miss cheap shoes.
I miss the nice people where you can chat up with strangers
I miss the civility and the compulsiveness of being proper of Londoners
I miss the time where I get free papers every evening
I miss the food (except the horrible shit of what they call Indian Cuisine)
I miss the amazing internet connection that makes the ones here seem extremely pathetic

And I found that, I extremely hate Kuching now
Why did the weather became excruciatingly hot?
Where are my favorite stores?
Where is the nearest bagel factory?

I do regret not buying myself another pair of shoes.
I do regret not buying lady gaga and script cd
I do regret not getting myself a bag
I do regret not getting myself a pair of flip-flops
I do regret not returning with a large bag of candy from Harrods
I do regret not trying Jelly Bellies.

You know something?
It really pisses me off that
I have to debut my clothes on Chinese Fucking New Year
Piece of shit
Stupid mom, kidnap all my precious clothing.
I will have her hung, drawn and quatered!!!!!!!!!!!.
Not to worry, I will debut my fantastically gay and outrageous clothing throughout the semester.

I got my mom a LongChamp bag from Paris
LongChamp is pronounced as Long-shomp
Still trying to get her to get the name right
You must respect the branding ok?
Will take pictures soon
To show off...

Nah,
Yes
Nah
Yes
Oh, I really should
or should not

Who cares, I am taking pictures and blogging it soon since some bitch so hao lian that she got her boyfriend a Chelsea pencil box, so what?
I also got merchandise.
The pencil box is only 4.99.
Cheap shit.
The merchandise are all cheap, cheap, cheap, cheap and cheap.
Find any Indian storekeeper selling souvenirs, they all got.
Not rare at all, abundant actually
Finding a small sized Zara plain black tee for Jamie however was a big challenge.
Scoured from Tottenham Court Road to Bayswater.
Plus and besides,
Chelsea spent millions last year on new players
And what did they achieved?
NOT ONE SINGLE THING!
Man, I laughed my ass off when I heard that.

Speaking of football, I was in Paris during the Tottenham and Manchester Match
While the Blackburn and Arsenal match was on the day that I am flying home.
Speaking of Chelsea, I heard that the fans were violent brutes
They carry baseball bats to the stadium and pick fights with the opposition.
Millwall is another team with fans that are violent.
Tickets are expensive, cheapest is like 45 pounds and they are a rare find.
Micheal Jackson's tickets are worth at least 150 pounds
and its in June not March, ok
Tina Turner is now in London.

Anyway, enough about the rich but underachieved soccer team.
I like the Tottenham logo, the crane looks adorable.
Manchester is nice too but since I have absolutely no interest in football, whatsoever
So I decided to save my aunt's money.

I hope I can give you a chronology of my trips in London, Paris, Cambridge, Oxford and Birmingham.
And I also hope that the upload speed is fast in my home for facebook.
But since I found out that I all my songs is gone from my desktop
I have to redownload some songs, Itunes and frostwire
Also, Londoners love Oxford and degrade Cambridge for some reason.

That's all for now
and yes I realized its ten fucking days since I blogged.
Luckily the pendrive in my car still works.

19 soon

Its sad, a year just seems to fly through me
And now, I am 19
So
Happy Birthday to ME!
Lol!

Thanks for the people who wished me, I am touched that you remembered
Now,
I am at my aunt's apartment.
Drinking some hot tea
Relaxing
I have just been through a major shopping spree
And now I am tired

Tomorrow, however, I am going to watch a play!!!

I realized and I am grateful

It takes time for me to realize that this trip away, does wonders for me
For once in a long time in my life, I felt like myself
Broken relationships, boring uni life
Could really turn the morale of a guy down

As of now, as I blog
I realized
My friends are all either rotting at home, slaving over part time jobs or getting ready or in school.
Me?
I am spending a holiday in London, traveled to Paris and shopped till I dropped.

Nice therapy
I have to say
Right now, I am living it
Vowing to have a life like this in future

So here are some pics of me in Madame Tussauds.
Enjoy.

This is where I spent my weekend

Sorry for the lack of update guys.
I spent a weekend at this place
Can you guess?
Take a look at the pics below.

Have you guessed where I am yet?
This is where Louis Vuitton's flagship store is

How about now?
This is a delicious delicacy, exotic and pretty much downright tasty.
Yeah, I tasted it, and yums*

A famous hotel is situated here
Really fancy
I am staying behind it though
But its good to know that I am staying near a real famous hotel

This is a famous landmark where the buildings in front of it are all famous branded stores, one of the world's famous avenues, this is the tip of the iceberg.

We are at a famous church.
A Disney movie is made here
And by now, you should know where I am, yeah?
If not the picture below explains where I am CLEARLY.
Come on, even a three year old know where is this place.
Its so damn fucking obvious.

Aww! Come on! If you read till its down here, then you must be damn stupid!
Seriously?
Let me spell it out for you
In bold and in the largest possible font, caps somemore:

I SPENT MY WEEKEND IN PARIS!!!!!!!!!!
